G. Liagas is not one of those photographers who go down to the city (and even more so to the villages), looking for spectacular images and characters, or collapsing on the ground in order to get the most elaborate riff. The goal of G. Liago is not to perpetuate the world around him, but to explore it, to play with it.
This album presents works from the most intense and creative period of Liagas's career, between the years 1985 and 2000. The collection includes works from the archive of Giedrius Liagas and from funds of the Lithuanian National Museum of Art and the Lithuanian Photographers Association.
