Leonas Peleckis-Kaktavičius. At Home on Pasadnos Street: Twenty Years Later

The book follows the odyssey of Stanislava Jakševičiūtė-Venclauskienė, one of Lithuania's first professional actresses, and Kazimieras Venclauskis, one of the most gifted lawyers, public and cultural figures of the interwar period, and their large family. Archival sources and the memories of the Venclauskiai children tell the story of the Venclauskiai's dedication and sacrifice in raising and educating their adopted and fostered children. The main focus is on S. Jakševičiūtė-Venclauskienė, who raised and brought up more than a hundred adopted children.
